El Campeonato Mundial de Superbikes (abreviado SBK) es un campeonato mundial de motociclismo de velocidad que depende de la FIM Federación internacional de motociclismo. Se inició en 1988. A diferencia del MotoGP, las motocicletas son superbikes, por lo cual deben ser derivadas de las de serie y se exigen mínimos de unidades fabricadas. La temporada 2019 del Campeonato Mundial de Superbikes fue la 32ª edición del Campeonato Mundial de Superbikes. Comenzó el 24 de febrero en Circuito de Phillip Island y finalizará el 27 de octubre en el Circuito Internacional de Losail después de 13 rondas y 26 carreras. Para la temporada 2019, se introducirá un nuevo formato de carrera.? Al igual que en 2018, se llevarán a cabo dos carreras, una el sábado y otra el domingo (viernes y sábado en Qatar), pero una tercera carrera, denominada como la Superpole Race (Carrera Superpole), ahora se llevará a cabo en la mañana del domingo (sábado en Qatar), previo a la segunda carrera larga. La carrera superpole será a solo 10 vueltas y entregará puntos solo a los primeros nueve clasificados, además los resultados no contarán para las estadísticas y los datos históricos.
