Él se ve a sí mismo como un espectador de su propia vida, y siempre anota lo que ve en el diario de su teléfono móvil. Atormentado por la soledad, Yukiteru comienza a imaginarse amigos como Deus Ex Machina, quien parece ser el Dios del tiempo y el espacio, y Muru Muru, la sirviente de Deus. Al ver el estado miserable de Yukiteru, Deus le da una nueva habilidad a Yukiteru. Su diario ahora registrará los acontecimientos que ocurrirán en un futuro cercano.
